Here’s a little secret: Domino is the brains behind this operation, commanding an army of cats at her disposal. Her minions sneak onto their human’s computers, using their digital paw-prints to meet their reading quota before their owners return home from work.

Of course, their only tasks are to clap and highlight stories. Why? Because chasing the cursor is second nature to them. However, typing comments is a bit tricky with paws.

Strategy #1: Engage broadly. Clap and highlight, but only comment when absolutely necessary.

The Numbers Game

Every action a cat takes is intentional; there’s no room for randomness in their world. Domino follows 3,071 accounts on Medium.

If you divide that by the daily limit of 50 new follows, you’ll find that Domino has been active on the platform for exactly 61 days, consistently gaining 50 new followers every day.
