Manifestation: Is It Real or Just Nonsense?

Chapter 1: The Dreaded Return to Work
After a week off, I was filled with apprehension about returning to my job. The repetitive nature of my tasks had drained my enthusiasm, particularly those I found unenjoyable. In an effort to find a fresh opportunity, I began job hunting, but nothing suitable arose.
Upon my return, however, I was presented with a new role that perfectly aligned with my desires. What a coincidence! I had been engrossed in TikTok videos on manifestation, which frequently appeared in my feed—likely due to my interest in the topic. Initially, I dismissed it as nonsense, but my perspective is shifting.
I envisioned myself in the new position I longed for, focusing on eliminating the tasks I disliked. Surprisingly, they have vanished. I hadn’t consciously recognized it as manifestation; I merely contemplated my aversions and envisioned my ideal role. Now, I find myself halfway there, retaining the tasks I enjoy.
My aspiration is to secure a higher salary, and this new role seems to be a step in that direction. Although my manager had presented me with two managerial offers, I declined them due to the stress of managing diverse personalities. Having observed a manager whose team turned against him and others who lived in constant anxiety, I definitely aim to avoid that scenario.
What I truly desire is career progression without the burden of team management, and here it is, arriving just as I needed it.

Despite feeling disheartened by my unsuccessful job search during my week off, this new development has revitalized my spirit. This isn’t my first encounter with manifestation; I previously set my intentions on receiving money, and it manifested. Reflecting on this recent role, I now view it as a form of attracting what I wanted, further validating my beliefs.

The concept of gratitude plays a significant role in the manifestation process. An article I encountered explores the interplay between the Law of Attraction and gratitude:

Although the theory sounds appealing, I’m yet to fully embrace the notion of expressing gratitude for everything in my life. I worry that focusing on gratitude might slow my momentum towards my next goal, which I want to avoid.
I’ve been researching this topic and found another article titled "The Importance of Practicing Gratitude for Your Mental Health in 2023" that emphasizes incorporating gratitude into daily life.
Additionally, I came across "A Daily Routine That Can Train Your Brain to Be Happier," which offers techniques to practice gratitude throughout various moments of the day.
It’s perfectly acceptable to appreciate your current circumstances while simultaneously pursuing your next objective, feeling as if you’ve already achieved it. Opportunities will arise, so remain open to them; the Universe provides. Continue seeking pathways toward your goals and maintain your vision.
