What Would You Choose If You Had Free, Unlimited Service?

Chapter 1: Introduction to Self-Discovery Questions
Recently, I stumbled upon an intriguing article featuring 21 questions designed for self-reflection and personal insight. I decided to adopt one of these questions as a writing prompt.
Here’s the 14th question:
If you could enjoy free, unlimited service for five years from an outstanding cook, chauffeur, housekeeper, masseuse, or personal assistant, which option would you select?
To me, this is a straightforward choice! Without a doubt, I would opt for a talented cook! Cooking isn’t my strong suit, and while I enjoy baking, preparing meals is not my forte. Having someone create delicious dishes for me and my husband would be a dream come true, especially after a tiring day. I wish I had inherited my father’s culinary passion; he was a fantastic cook who thrived on cooking shows and managed to whip up meals without ever needing a recipe. Unfortunately, I don’t share that enthusiasm. While I recognize the necessity of cooking to sustain my husband and me, I wish I found joy in it, which might have made me a better cook. So, having a skilled chef prepare daily meals? That sounds heavenly!
I don’t require a chauffeur since my husband handles driving! I don’t drive myself, so having a chauffeur could be advantageous—especially if I were single. However, I’m perfectly content walking or using public transit when necessary. Again, my husband takes care of that!
Having a housekeeper would also be a fantastic benefit, as I’m not particularly fond of cleaning (who truly enjoys it?). I love the idea of a tidy home, but the task of cleaning itself? Not my favorite. Keeping things orderly can be a challenge, especially with others in the house. If it were just me, I like to think my space would be tidier, although it's not overly cluttered—just occasionally messy due to the busyness of life.
As for a masseuse, I hardly ever indulge in massages—I've probably been once in my life! It’s just not something that appeals to me, so I wouldn’t miss it if I didn’t have one. Plus, how often could you realistically get a massage? Daily? That probably wouldn’t be wise!
Regarding a personal assistant, I lead a life that doesn’t necessitate one! I don’t run my own business and can manage my own scheduling quite well. Without children to juggle, it’s mainly just my husband and me, though a reminder system for his commitments could be handy. Ultimately, it wouldn’t significantly change my daily life since I rely on my smartphone calendar!
So, what would your choice be? I’d love to hear your thoughts and reasoning! Naturally, the ideal scenario would involve having all of these services, but that might require a lottery win or stepping into someone else's wealthy lifestyle!
